Project AGAPE-Heifer Project-Armenia Launched

Nara Melkonyan, Director of Project AGAPE, and Anahit Ghazanchyan, Heifer – Armenia Coordinator, are in the process of selecting the first round of families to receive cows in the near future. This partnership seeks to place 10 cows in 10 families per year for the next 3 years. The cost of successfully completing, including the cost of the pregnant cow, the seminarian care, the training of the farmers in caring for the cows as well as growing food, will be $10,000.00 per year.

Many United Methodist churches support Heifer, especially during the Christmas season.

Please consider designating the funds you raise for this project.

It will double your effort in supporting the mission effort of our conference. You will be supporting Project AGAPE and Heifer. The designation of your Heifer dollars will make a tremendous difference in the lives of people in a community that has an unemployment rate of 60%. Your contribution will increase the nutrition of a household by 50%!!
