There are many places, calls, and needs that ask for our lives. You are invited to reach out and transform your world, your environment, and your reality in these ministries. They are some places where you might proclaim the love of Christ, and perhaps, where you might find Christ loving you back.
Please deliver any ZOE School Kits that you have collected this summer to the designated church collection site for your district by August 25. The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) serves millions of people around the world. It responds to catastrophic disasters such as flooding, civil unrest and violence, refugee crises, landslides, earthquakes, and famine. When the emergency ends, recovery work begins. UMCOR continues its ministry long after the media attention and public interest has faded. These temporary water disinfection methods are recommended for use during an emergency to disinfect small quantities of water for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth.
