What’s it about?

The Apostle Paul tells us, "Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you."  We are called to transform our culture, not be transformed by it.  Learn how we might change our world through the prophetic voices of the Body of Christ!

  •  An excellent small group curriculum for addressing such NC issues as:  How can we address poverty? Housing needs of our community?  Livable wages? Restorative justice? Issues of race?  Education? Health Care?

  •  Why are these issues important to God?  Why should they be part of our faith journey?  How does a call to justice help us grow closer to God?

  •  How can we learn to talk to one another about difficult issues?

  •  Our scriptural mandate to help build societies that reflect God’s justice for all.

  •  Why is charity not enough?

  •  What next?  How to continue the journey to justice with your own congregation and how this active ministry is revitalizing many churches!
